Hello everyone,

I am no longer working at Cleverlearn as I am taking some time off to focus on my writing. I am around and available if anyone is interested in private or group tutoring.  I would like to stick to mainly writing and speaking tutoring but will help in anyway I can. Contact me by email at edwardo55@gmail.com if you are interested and we can work out a schedule.

Thanks,
Teacher_Ed

I was quite pleasantly surprised when I walked in to a dark CT5 class on Thursday evening and a chorus of "SURPRISE" met me. The lights came on and on the large table were Pizza, Cola and A beautiful birthday cake. We spent the next 45 minutes enjoying the delicious cake and pizza while listening to some music.  I was given a birthday card and a DVD of Ray Charles concerts by my thoughtful students.  I wish to thank you all again for your consideration and effort in throwing my birthday party,  It is something I will not forget.

Thanks again everyone,

Ed.

As promised, I have created a forum for Cleverlearn students past and present, to exchange ideas and create English groups for conversation practice. Find other students at your Language Level and set up meetings to practice your spoken English.  It is not easy to maintaint your level in Vietnam, so hopefully this forum will be an asset for you to do so. Enjoy.

Click on the link to go to the forum.  Be the first to post! It is very simple to use. Click MESSAGES at the top right to view posts and click POST to leave your own post.

I would like to say welcome to my summer course CT3 and my new CT5 class. I hope you enjoy the multiply community.  I want to see a lot of interaction (in English of course) between the students by way of leaving comments on classmates blogs.  This is a great resource for you all to improve your writing skills. So I look forward to lots of great blogs from you all in the future.

I would also like to say farewell to my old CT5 class, as they have all gotten their certificates and are moving forward in their studies.  It was a pleasure having you all in my class and it was an honor to be your teacher. Good luck guys!

The final tests have been written and CT4-5 has finished another term.  I wish them all success in the future. It was a great term everyone and I hope you decide to continue your English studies, at Cleverlearn or elsewhere, as long as you keep going.  I may or may not be teaching the next CT5 class, so I may not see some of you again, but I will continue to check in to multiply if you would like to continue your blogs.

To my CT5 class that is finishing on June 20th, We will be watching Spiderman 3 on monday, and I expect a good report from all of you on the plot of the movie and your feeling about it. I will be marking your report that will be included with your final test for an overall grade.  I'm sure you will all do just fine.  Untill next time, keep blogging and practicing your writing skills.

Vacation

for everyone

Hello everyone, today is April 2nd, so you know this is not a joke or an "April Fool" :) I am leaving tomorrow for Thailand for a much needed vacation.  It is the anniversary of my marriage to Mrs. Karen, another teacher at Cleaverlearn, and we are going to celebrate in Ko Samui, Thailand.  I am very excited to leave tomorrow and spend 12 days on the beach.  I hope you all have a great time with your substitute teachers while I am gone, and I look forward to seeing you all again when we return.  Have a good two weeks.

Teacher Ed.

PS.

Great work with the blogging guys, I have read all of your new blogs and am very happy with the effort you have put in to the writing.

Happy Womans Day, to all my female students, Nice work on the designs of your blogs.  I will have to change mine to keep up with you, as mine is kind of ugly.  I am off to work now, but will be checking in from time to time on your progress.  Great job Fiona, who is the first student to blog.  Keep up the good work guys and girls!
